Baton Twirling Classes

Today is Friday, March 13, 2020. As the result of recent concerns about the Coronavirus, we are temporarily putting on hold our baton twirling classes until April 10, 2020, which is the end of spring break. At that time, we will reassess the situation and determine the best way to move forward.
We are hopeful that we will be able to get back on track with our classes in the very near future. The deadline for ordering uniforms and t-shirts will be extended. In addition, we will be extending the dates that the fundraiser will run and likewise the deadline for turning in your fundraising money. The new deadline information will be provided at a later time.

Please check back here as any updates will be posted here as well as on our Facebook page at Athletic Sensations Baton Twirling. Stay healthy and, as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office directly at 616-460-1747.
Thank you so much for your interest in baton twirling and your patience as we try to navigate through these unprecedented times!
As our new t-shirt provides, just "KEEP CALM AND TWIRL!" :)

Come join the fun and learn how to twirl a baton!

Baton twirling is making a comeback as the latest and greatest sensation!

Don’t miss out on all the fun!

Our baton twirling classes not only focus on teaching children how to twirl a baton, our classes encourage teamwork, poise, hand-eye coordination, as well as help children build their self-esteem.  Students learn baton twirling tricks in class as well as a dance-twirl routine and a parade routine.  Students also earn ribbons in class!  Students will have an opportunity to show off their skills at an off-site competition in May!  Trophies will be awarded to all students who participate in the competition!  Rosette ribbons will also be awarded to the winners of the competition.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to march, as part of our award-winning parade group, in parades including the Grand Rapids Memorial Day Parade, the Muskegon Memorial Day Parade, and the Battle Creek Cereal Festival Parade, the Three Oaks Flag Day Parade, and the Paw Paw St. Julian Festival Parade.

At the last class, students will show parents and guests tricks that they have learned, as well as their parade routine and dance-twirl routine.  At that time, medals with neck ribbons will be awarded to students with perfect attendance! Weekly make-up classes are available.

Classes are currently offered to youths ages four to eighteen years old in several locations throughout Michigan, including Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Battle Creek, Muskegon, Kalamazoo, Paw Paw, Jenison, St. Joseph, Sturgis, Niles, Freemont, and Holland.

This is a great opportunity which can lead to students becoming a majorette for their school and a scholarship to college!

Don’t wait to start learning!
